  6.   The included source, README, NEWS, and other associated files were
  7.   downloaded directly from the archives at ftp.ai.mit.edu and are
  8.   being re-distributed here in their entirety.  
  9.  
  10.      They were not modified in any way except:
  11.  
  12.      1. Configure was run on an A2000 with a plain vanilla 60000
  13.         and no FPU.
  14.  
  15.      2. The executables were built from the resulting makefile.
  16.         The compiler used was GCC 2.6.3
  17.  
  18.      3. In the file os.c, line 181, I put in the typecast to
  19.         eliminate a compiler warning
  20.  
  21.      4. Configure thought it could find <termcap.h>, <sys/stream.h>,
  22.         and I THINK <pterm.h>, so a slight manual massage of config.h
  23.        to rem out those flags was required.
  24.      
  25.      5. The editor is still pointed at 'vi' but can be overidden
  26.         with an environment variable .
  27.  
  28.      6. The man pages were processed through CleanUp to strip the 
  29.         ANSI screen codes.
